These Terms & Conditions (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of www.padhaijunction.com and related mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform“), owned and operated by PadhaiJunction (“Company“, “we“, “us“, “our“). The Platform helps students discover, research, and compare colleges, universities, and courses, and offers tools such as college/rank predictors, exam updates, reviews, and admission counseling/lead-connection services.

By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, or submitting any information (including via forms like “Apply Now,” “Get a Callback,” or “Download Brochure”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

1. Eligibility

  • The Platform is intended for use by individuals researching educational opportunities, including students who may be minors (under 18).
  • If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms and to your use of the Platform on your behalf, where required by law.
  • By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and you agree to keep it updated.

2. Description of Services

The Platform provides, among other things:

  • Search, discovery, and comparison tools for colleges, universities, courses, and exams
  • College predictor / rank predictor tools that generate indicative results based on data you enter and historical trends — these are estimates only, not guarantees or admission decisions
  • Exam updates, application deadlines, syllabus, and cutoff information aggregated from public and institutional sources
  • User-generated content such as reviews, ratings, Q&A, and discussion forums
  • Lead-connection / counselling services — when you submit an inquiry, request a callback, or click to apply, we share your details with the relevant college(s), university, or counseling partner(s) so they may contact you directly (see Section 5 and our Privacy Policy)
  • Optional premium services, where offered (e.g., paid counseling, application assistance) — subject to additional terms disclosed at the point of purchase

We do not guarantee admission, scholarship eligibility, placement outcomes, or the accuracy of any third-party institution’s fees, seat availability, accreditation status, or course content. Always verify critical information directly with the institution before making decisions.

3. Account Registration & Security

  • You may need to register using your email, phone number, or a third-party sign-in (Google/Facebook/Apple) to access certain features.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at info@padhaijunction.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, are used fraudulently, or violate these Terms.

4. User Conduct & Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, defamatory, or impersonated information (including fake leads, fake reviews, or someone else’s personal data without consent)
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract data from the Platform without our written permission
  • Upload content that is unlawful, obscene, harassing, hate speech, infringing, or violates any applicable law, including the IT Act, 2000 and rules thereunder
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, reverse-engineer the Platform, or interfere with its security or normal operation
  • Use the Platform to spam, solicit, or advertise unrelated products/services to other users
  • Misuse the counseling/lead-connection feature to harass institutions or other users
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of the Company or any third party

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, and report unlawful activity to relevant authorities.

5. Consent to Share Information with Colleges & Partners

  • When you use features like “Apply Now,” “Get Callback,” “Download Brochure,” or similar, you expressly consent to your name, contact details, and relevant academic/exam profile being shared with the specific college(s), university, or counseling partner(s) you’ve expressed interest in, so that their representatives may contact you via call, SMS, WhatsApp, or email — including where your number is registered under NDNC, to the extent permitted by applicable telecom regulations.
  • You may withdraw this consent at any time; see our Privacy Policy for how to do so. Withdrawal does not affect any contact already initiated based on a request you previously made.
  • The Company acts as a facilitator connecting you with institutions; we are not a party to any admission, enrollment, or fee agreement between you and the institution.

6. User-Generated Content

  • Reviews, ratings, forum posts, comments, and similar content you submit (“User Content“) must be honest, based on genuine experience, and must not violate Section 4.
  • By submitting User Content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, adapt, and display it on the Platform and in our marketing, in connection with our services.
  • We may moderate, edit, or remove User Content at our discretion, including in response to a valid complaint (e.g., from an institution disputing a review’s accuracy) — subject to our internal grievance process.
  • You remain solely responsible for the content you post; the Company is an intermediary and does not endorse individual reviews or opinions expressed by users.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Platform — including text, design, logos, graphics, software, compiled data, rankings, and predictor algorithms — is owned by the Company or its licensors and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, or create derivative works from the Platform’s content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
  • Trademarks, logos, and names of colleges/universities/exam bodies referenced on the Platform belong to their respective owners and are used for identification/informational purposes only; such use does not imply endorsement or partnership unless explicitly stated.

8. Third-Party Content, Links & Institutions

  • The Platform may display information sourced from colleges, universities, government exam bodies, and other public sources. While we make reasonable efforts to keep this accurate and updated, we do not guarantee its completeness or correctness, and it may change without notice at the source.
  • The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., official college websites, exam authority portals, payment gateways). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third-party sites.
  • Any transaction, admission process, or fee payment you undertake directly with a college/university/partner is governed solely by their own terms and policies — the Company is not liable for disputes arising from that relationship.

9. Paid Services (if applicable)

  • Certain premium services (e.g., personalized counseling, application assistance, priority support) may be offered for a fee, with pricing and terms disclosed before purchase.
  • All payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways; the Company does not store your full card/payment credentials.
  • Refund and cancellation terms, where applicable, will be specified at the time of purchase in a separate Refund Policy.

10. Disclaimers

  • The Platform and all content, tools, and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Predictor tools (college predictor, rank predictor, etc.) provide indicative estimates based on historical data and user inputs; actual outcomes depend on factors outside our control (institution decisions, seat matrix changes, policy changes, etc.) and are not guaranteed.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the Platform at all times.
  • Any reliance you place on information from the Platform (including reviews, rankings, or predictor results) is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of admission opportunity, loss of data, or loss of profit, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Platform.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to the Company for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the preceding 3 months, or INR 5,000, whichever is lower.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) your misuse of the Platform.

13. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you’ve violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or for operational/legal reasons.
  • You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time (see Privacy Policy for the data deletion process).
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will continue to apply.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or registered email/contact details before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith negotiation.
  • If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in New Delhi, conducted in English, before a sole arbitrator appointed by the Company — or subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.

17. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any service-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding use of the Platform.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Force Majeure: The Company is not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond our reasonable control.
